Recently I am trying to use blogs to promote my business websites, I decided I should only work on wordpress based blogs, its well known that WordPress is perfect for casual as well as professional bloggers, together with Open Source License make the WordPress the most famous and versatile blogging software of all time.
Then I found out that I probably should build blogs myself, then I can use established and fully owned blogs to advertise other websites, and I think its not a patentable idea, all kinds of blog networks are out there for the exact purpose, but those are not my own sites and I don’t have control, not to mention I can’t just post to them, its easy to understand that the price on those networks won’t be cheap.
Its a tedious job to maintain more than a few blogs, if you want values for your blogs,to write interesting content is always time consuming, you have to put in time and money to build a successful blog. Some blogs are quite interesting, look at this one, Transport Chains and Binders, the domain name is pretty good, and it has a lot of interesting posts, since this is not a themed blog, there are all kinds of posts on the site. Here is one last note, some of your blogs should not be very serious ones, do some casual postings randomly, just like this blog, Chain Puller, this will make a blog network more like naturally built blog groups.
If you have a few established blogs already, add more blogs when you can, then use the established blogs to promote the new ones, this is the way to build your own blogging network. It sounds pretty simple, but to build a successful network will be much more complicated, follow the professional recommendations and ethic codes of online conduct you will be fine.
