Internet Is Spam: What Can We Do To Save It?

Posted in blogging by MichaelBenton

Lately I’m managing quite a few blogs to publicize my own website, most of the blogs I am working on are wordpress based, its well known that WordPress is perfect for casual as well as professional bloggers, together with Open Source License make the WordPress the fastest growing blogging platform ever.

Lately I figured that I should build my own blogs and promote them, then I can use established and fully owned blogs to advertise other websites, and I think its not a patentable idea, all kinds of blog networks are out there for the exact purpose, anyway those are other people’s asset and I have no control, in addition there is no way I can post to them, its easy to understand that the price on those networks won’t be cheap.

Its a tedious job to maintain more than a few blogs, if you don’t like garbage on your blogs,to write real stuff for your blogs will be time consuming, remember real value is always difficult to achieve. There are some interesting examples, let’s examine this one, Dog Supply, it has a nice name, and it has a lot of interesting posts, though its not a theme focused blog, almost any interesting posts get posted on it. Here is another one, My Office Lunch, this is a themed blog, all topics are about same theme, and ranks well for quite a few keywords. I can show you a lot more sites, but I believe you get the idea. Last but not least, in your little net you should have some loose blogs, do some casual postings randomly, take one blog as example, Buy Domain, doing this right you will have a natural blogging networks.

When you already have a few interesting blogs, add more blogs when you can, then use the established blogs to promote the new ones, this way you get your little blog network rolling. Of course its just the beginning, to build a successful network will be much more complicated, there’s one thing you do have to remember is that don’t ruin your hard work just because you want to cut a few corners.
